Speaker Line Up
This annual event is sponsored by the GCSS and takes place each fall on various chiropractic college campuses. The purpose of the Meeting of the Minds is to create a forum for a serious discussion about specific aspects of the Gonstead System. Each year the meeting has a different topic with guest presenters, speakers, panels, and research updates. The formal meeting convenes Saturday through Sunday, with several doctor/student activities scheduled on Friday afternoon and evening.
Up to 12 hours of CE are available in select states with your attendance at MoM for re-licensing. (Verify your state’s eligibility with GCSS)
Who Can Attend
The Meeting of the Minds is an opportunity to learn from many of the Gonstead system’s most accomplished doctors and other experts. Because it is a participatory event, MoM is open to GCSS Fellows, Diplomates, Diplomate-candidates, and Gonstead chiropractors who have been in practice at least 20 years. However, if you have between 10 and 19 years in practice and are not yet a Gonstead Diplomate you may attend Meeting of the Minds ONE time. Attendance at future meetings requires a Diplomate Application. Membership with the GCSS is not a pre-requisite. For more information, contact GCSS.
Friday Night Free Student-Masters Workshop
The traditional and popular GCSS workshop begins at 5:00 pm on Friday. Doctors will share their years of expertise with students—the next generation—and local chiropractors honing their skills. Everyone is invited to attend this complementary workshop and Pizza Party that follows.
There will be No Diplomate testing at MoM. Testing will take place during the Gonstead Extravaganza weekend. Pre-arrangements for testing are required. Learn more about the GCSS Diplomate Program by visiting the Diplomate page on this website. For questions and more information about the program, contact Dr. Lydia Dever, Diplomate Committee Chair at 404-886-2300 or email@example.com. View the Diplomate Application Packet.
If you would like to make suggestions for future conferences or make comments regarding Meeting of the Minds, please contact Committee Chair Dr. David Fowler at firstname.lastname@example.org.
